Maximum deterrence thanks to the built-in siren

Somfy Outdoor Camera is a high deterrent outdoor camera. When presence is detected you’ll be immediately alerted through your phone and a video of the event will be sent to you. You can then trigger the 110 dB siren through the Somfy Protect app and, if you’ve connected a light to your camera, this will automatically switch on to reinforce the deterrence.

The Outdoor Camera can be installed in three different manners:

• Connected to a mains power socket (cable not supplied).
• Connected to an electric wall outlet (for example by replacing a light).
• Connected to the power supply of an existing light. NOTE: Connection to an outdoor light: 500W (Halogen) or 100W (LED) max supported power.

Monitor your surroundings and protect your home

You can use the free Somfy Protect app to watch your home at any time and reassure yourself that everything is normal. When an intrusion is detected, you’ll receive a free video of the incident and won’t miss a thing. If the incident is an intrusion, you can activate the siren if it’s just a delivery person or a neighbour you can hear and speak with them. In any case, you can re-watch and download the video for up to 24 hours after the event.

  • Connected to a main power socket (cable not supplied)
  • Connected to an electric wall outlet (for example by replacing a light)
  • Connected to the power supply of an existing light:
    • You can then control the light from the Somfy Protect app
    • It will automatically switch on when you arrive home
    • If night detection is enabled, the light will automatically switch on when darkness falls to deter any potential intruders. You can then reinforce the deterrent by triggering the siren from your smartphone.
